How it works

How Oazy works

No spreadsheets, no jargon, no shoebox of receipts. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you connect your bank to a filed return.

Step 1

Connect your bank

A secure, one-time Open Banking import pulls in 12 months or more of transactions. Snapshot only, no ongoing bookkeeping.

You link your account through an FCA-regulated provider, the same technology your banking app already uses, so Oazy never sees your login. Access is strictly read-only and you can disconnect at any time. Once the import finishes, the raw feed is used to build your return and nothing more.

Step 2

AI categorises everything

Each transaction is classified against UK tax rules, allowable versus disallowable, capital versus revenue, with reasoning logged.

A year of transactions is sorted in seconds, not the evenings you would lose to a spreadsheet. Every decision is explained in plain English, so you can see why a cost was treated as allowable or capital. The AI works from real HMRC rules rather than a rough guess.

Step 3

Confirm the unclear bits

Low-confidence items become a simple checklist. The AI never guesses on the big or unusual stuff, so you stay in control.

Instead of asking you to review everything, Oazy surfaces only the handful of items it is genuinely unsure about. Each one comes with a short question and a couple of tap-to-answer options, so a whole return often needs just a few minutes of your time. Nothing is filed on a guess.

Step 4

File or download

Submit straight to HMRC and Companies House, or grab a ready-to-file pack. Your filing history lives in your dashboard.

Review your draft return, give it a final sign-off, and choose how you want to file. Send it directly through our integrations or download a complete pack to submit yourself. Everything you file stays in your dashboard, ready for next year when your Digital Passport means you barely start from scratch.
